Here's the current FAQ, or Frequently Asked Question, document initially updated 22-NOV-2002. That was to reflect a fundamental change in how the site was run.

We no longer send email or charge for chapters. We no longer take credit card information to pay for chapters. The system is web based only, now.

There was a small clarification in the Data Collection section on 28-APR-2004 to reflect the dropping of the for-pay sections.

On 27-APR-2005 the Email section was updated.

On 14-DEC-2005 the Singing Up and Banner sections were removed. All the banner ads were removed on this date.

On 21-JUN-2006 banner ads from Google were added.

On 10-MAR-2008 the author info section was added.

The main characters in this internet soap are fictional and are not intended to portray or resemble any actual individuals, whether living or dead (except for Jeff Abugov who is a real screenwriter, director and producer.) Although certain real people and companies are mentioned in this internet soap, all of the events are fictional and are not intended to portray or resemble any actual events.

This website only contains the first season of this internet soap. If we make money with this incarnation of this story, the second season may be published. To give us your feedback check out the email links, below.

At one point this site used to only send chapters via email. If you are receiving emails from this site and want to be removed from receiving further emails, send email to remove.nospam@tinseltrash.net. Remove the .nospam from the email address to get the correct address.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address that sent the email, if it is already in our database. If the sending email address is not in our database the request will be ignored.

This means we don't require you to register or provide information to us in order to view the basic areas of our site. At one point in the past you had to register if you wished to receive our for-pay chapters. This is no longer the case.

Each time a Tinseltrash.net page is requested from your browser, we log your computer's IP address into our log files. We use your IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and track your movements on the site.

IP addresses are not linked to your personally identifiable information.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of your information, Tinseltrash.net has put into place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to help safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We use industry standard security measures called SSL (secure socket layer) encryption.
